How to remove dark spots and make your skin tone even.

Hey good people! We all want that beautiful skin right? We constantly visit the stores looking for skin lighteners, scrubs, cleansers and we end up getting frustrated when they don't work to our expectations. Well, I have some good news for you. Potato. Yes,potato. It has a property that is capable of making your skin tone even, free of acne and clearing dark spots. So take a potato and grate it, sing the finer side. You want to get as much juice as possible.   The end result will look like this. Pour it in a small bowl, slice a lemon into two and squeeze it in to form a mixture.   Apply the mixture on the prefered area. Face, neck, hands, dark thighs and dark knuckles snd let it sit for 30 minutes then wash off with cold water. Apply twice a week for better results. This works 100%. It is safe and natural. NB*: If your skin is sensitive use honey instead of lemon.   Click here to watch the video

GROWING THICK LOCS(Tips)

                                                  * If you want thick locs, your parting system must be a bit bigger. The spacing will determine how thick your locs will be. However, it will depend on your hair type. If you have thick hair naturally you may not require to space your parts too wide apart. But with thin hair you will require big parts.   *Avoid constant retwisting. Just let your hair be. Retwist after maybe 2 to 3 months if you want to achieve that thick fuller look on your locs. * Make sure you wash your locs oftenly. Clean locs are healthy locs. *The more you retwist your locs the thinner they get. If you want a neat look but still dont want your locs to thin out, you can retwist only the edges, or just brush your locs a little to press them down for styling. * Do not mind what people will say. Embrace the beauty of your natural hair and sty...

My 2nd Loc journey begins

Hello good people! I am so excited to finally document my second loc journey and share it with you. No one wants to walk on a journey alone right? So I started my second set of locs using the two strands twist method. The two strands method is simply twisting two strands of your natural hair, and they will eventually lock up to form dreads. This method is great especially if you want to achieve thick locs. As you can see in this photo I'm all smiles. Cutting my locs to start a new set has been so liberating. My former set of locs was long and I know I disappointed many people by cutting them off. But I wanted them off my head because they were thinning out and had too much build up. I felt it was time to try out something different, like thicker semifreeform locs. Do you have locs? Are you considering to start loc'ing your hair? I would love to know about your loc journey too. Cheers!! Stay tuned and subscribe. Yours Loc head, Mesh.

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

Welcome to meshed locs!!   Mesh is my nickname, mesh also means a structure of connected strands of anything in this case, hair. Hence the name meshed locs.  The aim of meshed locs is to provide local tips according to what has worked for me and what hasn't. Most tips and information available online are from outside Kenya and most products may not be available locally. If you look closely at my locs you will notice some gross white stuff. Its the build up caused by using moulding wax/gel and the wrong products for a long time.So I decided to cut them off and start a new set. I started this blog to share with you my loc journey and the tips to start and maintain locs. Topics will range from loc maintenance, my loc journey updates, some of my clients loc journies, how to start your locs, how to style your natural hair and locs, product review, dos an don'ts and so much more. I will also give you some natural HOW TO hacks for your hair and skin.  Enjoy your reading! Yours ...
