I have been waiting eargerly to write this blog post but a lot has been going on but we are here now right? So I have been looking for exciting ways to accesorize my locs and I think the search bore fruits.

I met this pal of mine and she had the above beautiful jewellery on her faux locs and I really wanted to try them on my short locs.

And one of my favourite loc bloggers Jocelyn of  curlynugrowth is rocking hers too. Its beautiful!!

The jewellery can also be used to accesorize braids ,faux locs and  other loc extensions. If you want to purchase some for yourself email me and I will sort you out.

Hopefully, by next year I will have come up with more exciting ways to accesorize my locs and I will definitely share them with you.

Don't forget to subscribe. You don't wanna miss out. Adios for now loves.

5 BABY LOCS STYLES

Hello peeps. I must admit this rain and the cold got me really bad. My fingers get numb everytime I start typing. Just kidding. I missed you anyway. So this past two days I have been having a rough time trying to keep my baby locs down. I know, they just want to stay up. So I came up with a few styles to get you through the awkward stages of baby locs.  This is a simple style.Just hold up a few locs at the back then use a head band to hold them in place. You don't have to stress over your one month or two months old locs.   Another style for baby locs is the mohawk. This one is pretty simple too and will go with any outfit for many ocassions.  Another style is using head bands to accesorize. You can have them in different colours. This will go well with starter locs.  You can  also use  a head band with a bow to add style to your locs. DREADLOCS Dreadlocs are simply hair that has been matted together and can be formed using various methods. SISTERLOCS They are smaller than dreadlocs and their installation takes longer than that of dreadlocs.Probably twice or thrice longer. BROTHERLOCS Brotherlocs are similar to sisterlocs but are a bit larger although smaller than traditional locs. Can you unlock dreadlocs, sisterlocs and brotherlocs? Some people claim its possible but in real sense its difficult and leads to too much breakage. Most people just chop off their locs when they don't want them anymore. So what kind of locs do you have? Stay blessed!

TO USE WAX OR NOT?

For a long time now, I have been battling with the same question. Many of my clients and friends have also asked me about wax and which is the best method to maintain locs. First of all wax or moulding gel is the most common method of locs maintenance. For the simple reason that it keeps the locs looking neat and smooth. But just like everything else, it has its pros and cons. From a personal experience, using wax in excessive amounts will damage your locs, they will start having build up (the whitish stuff) and it’s really hard to get it out. Your locs will appear untidy and you may even start hating them to the point of wanting to cut them. If you want to use wax for your retouch, please visit your loctitian, he or she will know the right amount of wax to use in retouching your locs and the right way to dry them. If the wax is not dried properly, it will stick to your locs and form build up. Apparently, some fellas opt to retouch their locs on their own as a way of saving money. T...
